This position will require dealing directly with end-users to resolve issues remotely and on-site when required. Supporting a broad range of software across both Windows and macOS, a positive attitude and excellent troubleshooting skills will be considered a major asset. Expertise in collaborating with vendor support teams to get issues resolved more efficiently will also be beneficial.

Although we do not require you to work from our office, we do expect that you will be available by phone and email in a capacity that you can quickly jump into a secure and confidential remote support session. So coffee shop support is discouraged.

We are open to establishing a flexible schedule and various payment arrangements, so long as you're covering periods where our customers actually need support. Students are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Creation of new user accounts.

Software installation/configuration.

Hardware installation/configuration.

Mobile device configuration.

User/group training.

Assist Network Administrators.

Experiences

~5+ years Microsoft Windows support.
~5+ years hardware troubleshooting.
~3+ years network troubleshooting.
~2+ years MacOS support.
~2+ years Android/ iOS support.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+ / Network+, MSCE, RHCSA, ACP are considered an asset.
